Born and raised in California, I was a park ranger in Malibu for many years. I had the tough job of monitoring movies and music videos filmed on our beaches. But I left all the glamour to move to Nashville in 2005. I write mostly country and pop but try a little of everything.
I have actually begun to make a little money with my songs but I still spend far more! My most recent accomplishments were:
Winning 2nd place in the Uni-Song Contest last year for our song Cinderella in Satin and came in 2nd in the People’s Choice Awards
Was voted Most Promising Female Songwriter, and Best Co-writer 2007 by TSAI
Won a trip to Ireland as the Grand Prize winner in the Nashville to Belfast Love Song Contest for my song ‘Listen to My Touch’
Won a 7 day cruise to Jamaica as last years Grand Prize Winner in the Texas Songwriter’s Cruise Contest for our song ‘Hero in Heaven’
Won NSAI’s Single Song Showdown in 2006 for our song ‘What Is & What Should Be’
Our song ‘Can’t Lie to God’ was released on Sim’s Records and was played on Christian radio across the nation
Our songs ‘Ka-Ching’ and ‘Love Lets You Know’ were released on the Good Night Kiss label and are available on I-Tunes! Cathy Kent, my co-writer on ‘God Didn’t Mean It’ and several of the above mentioned songs is the label artist performing all of the songs (except Can’t Lie to God-Ronnie Kimball). |
